Do I need to submit a PLAR application?
If your HAP (Human Anatomy and Physiology) courses do not meet the three conditions listed in the Approved Human Anatomy and Physiology (HAP) Courses List for 2023 Entry, you must submit a PLAR application. These conditions are:
1. Your HAP Courses must be listed on this HAP Approved Course List for 2023 Entry.
2. Your HAP courses must be completed in the exact combination stated on this HAP Approved Course List.
3. Your HAP Courses must be completed after September 2018 for the September 2023 intake.
Please do not submit a PLAR application if your HAP courses were:
- listed on the Approved HAP Courses List for 2022 Entry, and
- completed in a correct combination as the Approved HAP Courses List for 2022 Entry mentioned, and
- completed after September 2018 for September 2023 intake
Please note: PLAR applications are made by you to the School of Nursing BSN program to request that your courses be reviewed to see if they fulfill the HAP pre-requisite application requirement. This form does not serve as advice on what alternate courses to take should your courses not be accepted, and sending in a PLAR application does not guarantee your courses will be accepted as a substitute for the pre-approved courses and required three conditions of the HAP pre-requisite requirement.
For more information on PLAR applications, please refer to the Human Anatomy and Physiology Prerequisite - PLAR Assessment and Application section of the Admissions website.
