How do I find out if the courses I took at another college or university meet the application requirements? How do I know if my courses are equivalent to UBC courses?

All your courses (including pre-requisites) will be assessed on an individual basis after you have formally applied to UBC and submitted all required documents. The School of Nursing cannot pre-evaluate your individual courses, as the evaluation process is completed only by UBC enrolment services after you apply.

The BC Transfer Guide Links to an external site. provides comprehensive information about university transfer courses taken in BC.

You can also consult UBC Student Service's UBC Transfer Credit Search.

If you are confused about what sort of courses to take, please consult the Admissions Requirements page for details on our application criteria, and if you require further clarification you can reach out to us at information@nursing.ubc.ca or schedule an advising appointment.

Please note: we cannot tell you what courses to take or advise you of what specific courses fulfill the application requirements on a case by case basis, but we can help clarify the criteria your courses must meet before you apply.
