Calculus Cats, Derivative Dogs, and any other Parameterized Pets
Many of you have pets that are learning vector calculus along side you and so this is a frivolous page where we can collect pictures and videos of them. If you email me a file or a link, I will collect them here. (I just clicked a box which allows students to edit this page, so you might be able to add pictures on your own, not sure though).

Here's my cat Tasha. Sadly she's not with me at UBC but you can tell from her sophisticated look that she'd excel at Calculus.

Maple the dog:
I'm sure you have all seen her in class and I'll tell you a little bit about her. She was born in Calgary Alberta and we have had her since she was 2 months old. She is currently 5 years old and still seems like a puppy. She LOVES attention and of course treats. Feel free to come pet her anytime you see her she will be very grateful. Here are some pics:
