SBME STUDENT SERVICES
SBME's Advising team supports BMEG students through drop-in advising, advising appointments and over email.
Student Services Hours of Operation are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
CONNECT WITH AN ADVISOR
There are three ways you could connect with an advisor:
- Emails
If you have any inquires or questions, please reach out to us via emails with your name and student number: students@sbme.ubc.ca.
- Advising Appointments
If you have complex inquiries and need to talk with an advisor, please schedule an appointment with one of our Advisors. We are happy to meet with you both in person and virtually to answer your advising questions. Please email our office to book an appointment (students@sbme.ubc.ca).
- Drop-in sessions:

| Tuesdays: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. |
| Wednesdays: 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. |
| Fridays: 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. |
*Drop-in schedules can change as the staff adjusts for busier and less busy periods and we may add virtual drop-in sessions during registration seasons.
*Summer 2025 Virtual drop-in sessions:
11am -12pm Monday-Friday, May 12 - July 17, and August 18 - September 15, 2025
