3.7 Graduation Checks Timeline & Important Dates
Applying to Graduate
Students in 4th year standing who intend to graduate on either the MAY or NOVEMBER ceremonies must apply to graduate. If you apply and do not meet the requirements, it's not a problem. You can apply again for the next graduation ceremony. If you do not apply, and miss the deadline, you will not graduate.

Graduation Checks
UBC is switching to Workday students and graduation checks will be completed using this new system. Please note that a number of Electives, Humanities and/or Complementary studies are not caught by the system automatically. EAS and BMEG staff will have to manually link the courses to your program requirements, for the system to recognize them.
-
- SBME Student Services administers Year 2+ requirements.
- EAS administers first year, humanities and impact requirements.
SBME Student Services DOES NOT conduct informal graduation checks from May - Jul.
During this time our staff must focus on Winter Terms registration and advising appointments.
