Practice Midterms and Finals (midterm 2)
Here is where I will put old midterms and finals for you to practice on. These are mostly from old math 317 I will try to annotate all of the exams below to let you know which problems are relevant.
Second Midterm details:
The second midterm will take place Friday March 14th from 2:00 pm to 2:50 pm.
Students with official time accommodations from CFA will have their time adjusted accordingly.
Calculators will not be allowed. Students will be allowed to bring in one sheet of formulas.
Topics for the second midterm:
Integrals of vector fields over curves (work integrals).
Conservative vector fields (when is a vector field conservative, properties of conservative vector fields, finding a potential function).
Fundamental theorem of line integrals.
Parameterized surfaces.
Integrals of functions over surfaces.
Integrals of vector fields over surfaces (flux integrals).
Material which was tested on the first midterm is still fair game!
