Tips for a Successful Learning Experience
First, be mindful when you submit your rating choices and comments. All the responses will be collected and presented (without your name attached) to future workshop participants as a means for peer learning. This means that you will also have access to the responses submitted by other participants in this workshop.
Second, once you’ve provided your rating on each rubric aspect, you will have a chance to see what grade your instructor gave to the essay. There is never complete agreement on what constitutes a correct grade, no matter who grades it, but it is important for you to think about how your grade compares with the grades given by your instructor. If your grade is very different, consider why you gave it such a different grade.
Third, writing good comments is a challenging but very important part of peer assessment. Refer to the 'Tips for Providing Critical and Constructive Feedback' section again if it is necessary.
