Overview of Using Canvas Tools

In your online course, you may choose to use Canvas, the Learning Management System (LMS) that UBC uses. Canvas has both built-in tools and tools that can be integrated. This module includes a list of components, but there are other functionalities that can be found in the sidebar navigation such as Announcements, Assignments, Discussions, and Syllabus. More information can be found on those pages.

Using the Starter Template

ETS has created a template to get you started. If you would like a template, please contact ETS. The components below can help with using the template, or developing these areas in your course. We have also created a video to help you work with the template.
