Why use games?
There are many reasons that games can be a great approach to learning such as they:
- Engage students
- Create situations for collaborative problem solving
- Allow students to practice and try activities multiple times
- Can simulate real life scenarios
NOS (Nature of Science) Game
One of the UBC instructors wanted to have the NOS card exchange as an online Game. This game allows students to explore the nature of science with each other through negotiating in this card exchange game.
