Your learning will be supported by additional digital tools both within and outside of the Canvas LMS. Here you will find information about some of the most commonly used tools.

Copyright & Media Attribution

When sharing media online, it is important to know that you have permission to do so. Some tools such as Kaltura will walk you through the copyright process. Use media you made yourself and/or seek Creative Commons Links to an external site. Media when possible. Remember to attribute/cite sources. Respect Privacy
Be respectful if you will be using your own photos/videos. Make sure you have permission to include photos/video of people who are identifiable, even if the photos were taken in a public space or even if you were not planning on posting your Assignment publicly. If you don't have permission or can't obtain it, try to blur and block visible faces before sharing.

Digital Literacies

Digital literacy skills and strategies are important to student success in online environments. Refer to the Welcome to Online Learning: Digital Literacies course as a resource to build knowledge as well as a reference guide to be reviewed and revisited when you work with digital tools and technologies as part of your coursework.
