Module Naming Conventions

Naming Structure:

Just like a textbook, or other academic piece of writing, it may be common to name content within your course with a numerical structure.

ETS does not recommend content pages, assignments or discussions with a numbered convention as shown in this image.

Why?

1. Any changes to the order of this content would require renaming each item.
2. Any removal of an item would require renaming all subsequent items.
3. Any of these changes would break existing links within the course,  and every link would then need to be found and fixed.
