Finding Information Sources: Where?
There are a number of places in which you can search for scholarship to support your inquiry. Three of the most common (UBC Library, subject databases for Education research, and Google Scholar), as well as the strengths and limitations of each, are introduced in the videos below. You will likely spend time searching in all of these places during the inquiry process to ensure that you are finding the best, most relevant material for your project, which is why we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the functionality of each.
1. Searching in UBC Library (Summon)

All of the search strategies and search filters discussed in the below tutorial can still be used; however, please note that the folder icon that was previously used to save items is now a banner icon that looks like this.
