Choose one of the following four videos to critique.
Option 1: Observe a Physics Lesson
This takes a different approach to a typical chalk'n talk. Comment on:
- What you find interesting about this approach
- What you think works well/doesn't work well
- How you might use this approach in your own classroom
Option 2: Mock Grade 10 Science Lesson
Treat this as one of your peers. Make recommendations about:
- The use of technology
- Things you would do differently
- What would be good follow up activities after the given lesson
Option 3: Modeling Instruction demonstration and explanation
What do you think about this approach?
- How do the strategies build upon constructivism?
- What opportunities and challenges are present with this approach?
- How you might use this approach in your own classroom?
Option 4: Teaching through video
How does teaching change in an online platform?
- What you like about the teaching strategies used?
- What you think are the opportunities and challenges in the online medium?
- How you might use YouTube videos in your classroom?
