Get Started sample 1 (setting expectations for how the course operates)
Short course description, general expectations, etc.
More details about the scheduling of the course, describe accommodations for students in different time zones, etc.
About course format
Describe the flexibility of your approach (e.g. easy access the learning materials, students can learn at their own pace, in the way that best fits their learning preferences, etc.).
Course Structure
Each week (Module) is organized as follows:
Before Class
You will find readings, instructor notes, videos and various learning activities.
When you have completed all the readings and activities for each Week, make sure to check the "Mark as Done" option on the top right-hand corner of the page.
In-Class
Class sessions are meant to be a "learning lab" where we will discuss and apply what you have learned. I will provide a short summary of what will be covered in class and the learning activities you will be engaged in as a group. During the first half of the term there will be individual and group quizzes that cover key concepts from assigned readings for that day.
After Class
There will be short activities after some classes, such as a brief discussion question. There are also several assignments that will support your development of the two papers assigned (i.e., the planning paper and the group evaluation proposal).
