Supplemental Resources

There are many ways to gather feedback on your teaching. Should you wish to explore some of these, here are some options:

  • Peer review of your online teaching - Peer review of teaching is a process and/or form of evaluation designed to provide feedback to instructors about their teaching. It has been variously defined and is sometimes called "peer observation of teaching".

  • Small group instructional feedback (in-person feedback) - Small Group Instructional Feedback (SGIF) is a formative mid-course check-in process for gathering information from students on their learning experience. This process is designed to foster dialogue between students and instructors.

  • For Okanagan instructors, a sample mid-course survey and support are available through the Centre for Teaching and Learning.
