3.1 Connecting to your course

If you’re adapting multiple courses for the online environment, we suggest focusing on one course for all activities in the Online Teaching Program.
Take a moment to reflect on the following questions about your current assessment strategies.
 |
- What potential challenges do you anticipate in moving your in-person assessments to an online course?
- What are the formal or informal feedback strategies you currently use to keep students on track and help them continually grow?
- What potential challenges do you foresee providing feedback to students online?
- How (if at all) do you involve students in peer or self-assessment? Do you intend to do this in your online course?
- How do you communicate expectations to students for assessments in your in-person course?
- Do you anticipate increased challenges with marking online assessments? How might you reduce marking burden?
- Will there be any additional considerations for academic integrity you need to think about in an online environment?
