3.11 Apply to your online course

Review the assessments you listed when you mapped your course using the Download Course Planning Tool

[doc] in Module 2. If you did not complete Module 2, make a list of all the assessments in your course. For each of the assessments, ask yourself the following questions:

  1. What learning objective(s) does the assessment measure?
  2. Is the assessment formative or summative?
  3. Is there a rubric that can be used with the assessment? If not, would a rubric be useful?
  4. How much of the final grade is the assessment worth?
  5. What online tool(s) might be a good match for the assessment? If you’re not familiar with a  tool you’d like to use, review support information available on the Keep Teaching or the LT (Learning Technology) Hub websites.
