Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

• Demonstrate correct usage of basic Nepali vocabulary and grammar in order to respectfully engage in interactions that might take place in a community setting
• Correctly pronounce Nepali words, numbers, and expressions
• Engage in opportunities to exchange knowledge with local partners
• Use honorific language appropriately when speaking to community members
• Write Nepali syllables and words using the correct stroke order
• Ask and answer questions about everyday objects, telephone numbers, colours, everyday activities, body parts, days of the week, and family members
