Locate Kaltura Capture Videos on your Computer

If you accidentally delete a recording from My Media in Canvas, you can locate it on your computer hard drive. If you recorded both your webcam and screen, the recordings are in two separate files. You will only be able to upload them separately. Note that files are not named in a user-friendly fashion.

Windows Folder

In a File Explorer window, paste a customized copy of the following link (replace with your own user name):

C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Kaltura\Capture\Recordings\

Mac Folder

In a Finder window, select Go then Go to Folder. Paste a customized copy of the following link (replace with your own user name):

/Users/[your user name]/Library/Preferences/Kaltura/Capture
