Kaltura offers a range of information via its analytics. Instructors can use these analytics to get information such as how many times a video has been viewed, the duration of each viewing, which students viewed a particular video, and much more.
The Category Analytics dashboard enables you to discover all the activities pertaining to a specific category - in our case, the category is the Media Gallery for your course (i.e. the videos which you have published to your course). The dashboard can be used to explore category usage in different time periods and even compare between different periods.
In your course menu, click on Media Gallery.
At the top Media Gallery page, click the icon with the three bars.
From the dropdown menu, select Analytics.
The Kaltura Category Analytics dashboard for your course Media Gallery will load.
The Entry Level analytics dashboard enables you to discover how your users engage with a specific entry (i.e. a specific video), where they watched it from and with what devices so you can track and optimize your content. The dashboard can be used to explore engagement in different time periods and even compare between different periods. You can also filter based on a variety of parameters, including location and category.
In your course menu, click on My Media.
Next to any video on the Media Gallery page, select the icon for Analytics.
The Kaltura Entry Level Analytics dashboard will load.
