Hello, my name is Damrong Pipatwattanakul. I am an Assistant Professor in Silviculture at the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University based in Bangkok, Thailand. I am originally from the eastern part of Thailand and currently live in Bangkok.  I have been a lecturer at the Department of Silviculture, Faculty of Forestry, KU since 1992 and specialize in forest landscape restoration and forest plantation. I earned my Doctor of Science in Agriculture and Forestry from University of Helsinki, Finland since 1997. My research areas include forest restoration, forest tree seed technology, silvicultural practices, plantation management, and education development in Mekong Region.

Terry Sunderland is a Professor of Tropical Forestry at the University of British Columbia, Canada and a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for International Forestry Research, Indonesia. Terry is gathering evidence concerning the importance of forests and trees in the attainment of food security, biodiversity conservation and suggests a more integrated approach to land management. My research areas include, but are not limited to, Insect molecular biology, Molecular diagnosis and Ecological control technology of forest pests, especially quarantine Pests.

I completed my PhD at the Beijing Forestry University (China) majoring in Ecology in 2017.  The key words of my research interest includes: sexual dimorphism, reproductive allocation pattern, dioecious species, allometric model and urban forest ecosystem service.
