Summary

This module has introduced you to a number of case studies. You should have looked at at least three, but hopefully you have been sufficiently curious to look at more. Much of this course has been fairly theoretical in nature, and the case studies provide you with the area-specific information that you will need to apply this knowledge. Having a good knowledge of particular areas is important as it enables you to draw comparisons, and extends your knowledge of possible options.

You may be familiar with one or more of the areas that we have used for the case studies, and if you are, and have seen any mistakes, please let us know. In addition, we also welcome high quality and well-documented images. While we have tried to use our own photos as much as possible, this has not always been possible. This is because we are dependent on suitable conditions and opportunities when we visit an area, and sometimes these don't arise (which of course can be extremely frustrating). In addition, the COVID-19 virus meant that we had to abandon plans to include some sites, and some of the areas that we intended to revisit were never reached. It may be possible to do this in the future.
