Academic honesty is essential to the continued functioning of the University of British Columbia as an institution of higher learning and research.  All UBC students are expected to behave as honest and responsible members of an academic community.  Breach of those expectations or failure to follow the appropriate policies, principles, rules, and guidelines of the University with respect to academic honesty may result in disciplinary action.

The exam is closed book.  Consulting other sources like Chegg, Discord etc. or consulting with other person in any format or forum after opening the exam and before submitting your answers is considered academic misconduct.  All cases of academic misconduct are forwarded to the Associate Dean of Students, Ian Cavers.  Instructors can view cheating as the equivalent of not completing the exam resulting in a grade of '0' for the exam.  Alternatively, academic discipline can be administered by the President of the University and can result in suspension and/or grade of '0' in the course.

All individual work that you submit should be completed and submitted by you and you alone.

  • It is unacceptable to buy/sell/swap/share assignment questions or answers on any platform.
