Instructions

The mid-term exam is a multiple choice, written exam on the course content, prepared in the style of the ISA Certified Arborist examination.

The objective of this test is to assess the student's ability to understand key concepts presented in the course, focusing on the growth, development and requirements of urban trees as well as the main challenges that environmental constraints and human activities pose for trees.

The exam will be open-book with 45 multiple choice questions. Students will have 1 hour (60 minutes) to complete the exam, in one try.

Material in the readings and lectures covered between September 10th and September 27th inclusively will be covered in the exam (Introduction to Arboriculture, Tree Physiology, Abiotic Factors, Biotic Factors, Human Factors of Urban Sites and Urban Soils).
