Course Certification

This is a course with an option to obtain certification for a 3-credit graduate-level course. Assessments to student certification include the following components. You would need to decide whether to pursue a certification by end of Week 3 of the course. The number of student certification for each offering of the course would be capped at 20. The passing grade is 60% for certified option. Students who plan to pursue the non-certified option should only comply with the assignment activities.

For certified option, final letter grades will be given using the following grading schema based on the overall 100% weight on the corresponding required assessment components:

B- 68% - 71%
C+ 64% - 67%
C 60% - 63%
F (Fail) 0% - 59%

For non-certified option, final letter grades will be given using the following grading schema based on the overall 50% weight on the corresponding required assessment components:
