Topic Introduction
Through this Topic, the students will receive brief information about the types and characteristics of international conventions, treaties and multi-lateral agreements (MLA’s) as well as the principles and frameworks for action to articulate and negotiate MLA’s.
By the end of this topic, you should be able to:
- Recall the general objectives of multi-lateral agreements (MLA’s),
- Assemble the principles and frameworks for action to articulate MLA’s,
- Analyze the governance issues for treaty implementation, and
- Propose measures to ensure effective implementation of MLA’s.
