Summary

This is a simulated negotiation “Roundtable” of a multi-stakeholders’ consultation of specific forestry issue of international and national importance. Each student will be a member of a stakeholder group. The students are given instructions on the diplomacy and procedure of the debate as well as guidance on how to conduct themselves practically during the negotiation process.

It should be kept in mind that such an international negotiation process is applicable to government agencies as well as relevant private sector entities.
