Chapman Learning Commons

Located in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, find access to advanced technologies, collaborative work areas, and learning support at the Chapman Learning Commons. The friendly team of student assistants are here to help library users in person and online with technology, online learning, as well as connecting students with key learning services.

Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication

CWSC

The Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication (CWSC) is dedicated to helping facilitate the writing of undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, staff, and faculty. The CWSC offers writing consultations, workshops, retreats, and resources.

Research Commons

Research Commons Students

The Research Commons is a multidisciplinary hub that supports research endeavours and provides training in research-enabling skills. They embrace both new and traditional exploratory scholarship and provide services, software, and expertise. 

Scholarly Communications

Scholarly communication is the ​process by which researchers create, publish and share their findings with the academic community and the broader public. It includes traditional forms of publishing, but also the new and evolving systems of scholarship made possible in the digital age. The expert team at UBC Scholarly Communications is here to support UBC faculty and students through workshops, guides and one-to-one consultations.
