This week's task was to write a haiku (a poem of Japanese origin that uses a format of three lines with 5, 7, 5 syllables) on Indigenous rights. Take a look at the final result (haiku in the blue box, tweet in the white):

The artwork on the left is by Marcus Gosse, a Newfoundland Mi'kmaq artist. This piece is called "Coastal Friends" and made me reflect on how Indigenous knowledge and traditions have allowed them to live in harmony with nature for thousands of years.
