EuroMillions lottery is played in nine European countries: Belgium, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Portugal and Spain. The draw takes place on Tuesday and Friday evening with a minimum € 17 million jackpot, which could reach up to € 230 million.

How to play

The player selects five numbers that can be any number from 1 to 50.

Then, the player selects two lucky star numbers from a group of 12 numbers.

The draw takes place at 20:45 every Tuesday and Friday in Paris. Results are published shortly after the nomination process on affiliated and independent websites at 20:45 UTC.

To participate in the EuroMillions game, tickets can be purchased at most stores, namely licensed stores and online websites, like Lottofy.

The game changed on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 with the second weekly nomination and the number of “lucky stars” increased from 9 to 11. The award for matching the two most important numbers and the absence of lucky stars is also presented in the same way.

On Saturday, 24 September 2016, the number of "lucky stars" increased again, from 11 to 12. In return, the minimum jackpot has increased from 15 million to 17 million, and the maximum jackpot has increased from 190 million to 250 million.

How to Receive a Prize

UK players have a period of 180 days from the date of nomination numbers to receive the prize. See the current list of unwanted prizes before they reach the deadline here. In other countries the time limit for redeeming the prize varies, but is usually around 180 days.

EuroMillions Advance Play

EuroMillions Advance Play means you can play up to a month EuroMillions in advance. Just tick the Advance Play box with two, four, six or eight drawings, whichever fits best. The ticket you receive will show the number of drawings you have and what dates are valid.

Advance Play will always include the next EuroMillions nomination (and the EuroMillions Plus nomination if you decide to play). If you win a prize in any of the competitions you can claim it in the normal way. You will receive an exchange ticket to cover any remaining drawings in your Advance Play.
