Aviation Weather Service

The Aviation Weather Web Site (AWWS) is a Canadian weather service which provides all necessary information for safe flights. They have information on air conditions, wind speeds, sunrise/sunset times, notices, and satellite images.

METAR and TAF 

METAR and TAF weather reports are used by hot air balloon pilots to determine accurate, local weather conditions. METAR reports are issued every hour or half-hour. In the case of sudden changes in weather, SPECI reports are used. TAF provides forecasts of future weather, and it provides information on wind speed, visibility, rain, mist, and cloud coverage.

Hot Air Balloon Forecast 

This weather forecasting service provides information regarding current weather conditions at specific hot air balloon launching locations. Reports on current hazards, conditions, radar, climate, temperature, cloud coverage and past weather are located on the side panels.
