1. Mountain Forecast

A very useful tool that tracks the weather forecasts of over 11300 mountains at 8 elevations. Precipitation levels, temperatures, wind speed, and weather maps are accessible in one location. There are also links to information about each summit that may help in planning out trips or understanding the type of trails you may be embarking on.

2. Avalanche Canada

Maps that provide a synopsis of the weather (up to day 7). Very useful when planning a longer trip where this resource can help you gauge the predicted weather and how to prepare for the trip. The legend on the right side of the screenshot below shows different elements/ weather the site provides radar and satellite maps for.

3. The Weather Network

The previous two sites can provide extensive details on weather forecasts and can appear complicated to beginners. The weather network is a good place to start to figure out forecasts when planning a trip.
