Weather hazard

When attending fishing, it is very important to check the weather, bad weather is not only not letting the fishers feel the happiness of harvesting, it might even cause damage to the ship and hurt the people on it. I will list some of the hazardous weather below:

Wind

When the wind is strong, it is not good for fishing because strong winds will cause big waves, and the boat will be very unsteady. It will cause the people onboard to be sea sick, and might let the fishermen lose their harvest because they are not able to go on deck and fish. it even has a chance of causing the boat to flip, even though it is very rare, probably not even once in a million times of fishing. 

Heavy rain

When there is strong rain, usually the vision is not good, in this condition, it is very dangerous for the captain to drive the boat, given that there might be something that is floating on the water, such as the logs that are in the Fraser river. The strong rain has the ability of causing small floods and washing the woods away, and because the vision is bad, some logs can hit the boat and wreck the bottom of the boat. Also the bad vision brought by the big rain can also cause the boat to hit the submerged reef when the boat is going in shallow waters.
