Disable Automatic Email Notifications from Zoom

Once you have set up your Zoom meetings in Canvas, your email inbox may start overflowing with notifications telling you that students have joined your Zoom meeting. Here's how to disable these notifications.

  1. Go to https://zoom.us/signin Links to an external site. and enter your UBC email and cwl password to log in.
  2. Once signed in, click Settings in the left side menu. You can also directly visit https://ca01web.zoom.us/profile/setting Links to an external site..

  3. On the Meeting tab, select Email Notification.

  4. Disable the option "When attendees join meeting before the host" - change the slider from blue to grey.

  5. You can optionally enable or disable other settings on this screen, as well.
