Teamable Analytics: Initial Setup

Please note: This tool is currently under QA
To use Teamable Analytics, first submit a ticket to https://lthub.ubc.ca/support/lt-hub/contact selecting "Other" and ask for Teamable Analytics and make sure to include the course ID, which are the numbers after course in the course URL i.e. https://canvas.ubc.ca/courses/66705 is the URL for this course so the ID would be 66705, or course code, term, and section, i.e. TEST 100 001 2017W1.
Sections and Students tab

Once Teamable Analytics has been added to your Canvas course, you will see a link called "Team Formation", Figure 1. This link will take you to a new page. On this page click the Sections tab highlighted in red in Figure 2.

- Click "Import Course Data" this will automatically create bring the students into a section by the sections shown in Canvas. This will allow you to create teams by Canvas section later.
- (Optional) You are also able to create your own sections if you want to create the teams using only a part of the class.
- In the student tab, you will find a list of all students in this course with their sections and student numbers.
