View and Export Evaluation Results
After the due date of an iPeer Event, you can access student responses to your Evaluation in iPeer.

View Evaluation Results
- In iPeer, click on the Courses tab at the top of the page.
- Click on your course name.
- In the Evaluation Events box, click on List Evaluation Events.
- In the list of Evaluation Events that appears, click Results.
- On the results page, you can:
- Click Release All Comments to allow all students to see the comments written by their group members.
- Click Release All Grades to allow students to see the marks they received.
- Click Results next to any group to view the results of each group members evaluations. See the tabs below for details pertaining to each evaluation type.
- See which group evaluations have been marked as Reviewed by the instructor or TA. When viewing individual group evaluations, click Mark Peer Evaluations as Reviewed to use this column to keep track of which Evaluations have been reviewed by the instructor or TA.
View Simple Evaluation Results
The results of a Simple Evaluation show:
- The points that each group member awarded each of their peers.
- The average mark received by each group member.
- Any comments that group members left for their peers.
View Rubric Evaluation Results
The results of a Rubric Evaluation show:
- The points that each group member received for each Criterion.
- Click Detail in order to see a detailed breakdown of points and comments for each group member.
- Click the yellow bar with the name of the student you wish to view in order to see their detailed results.
View Mixed Evaluation Results
The results of a Mixed Evaluation show:
- The points that each group member received for each Likert scale question.
- Click Detail in order to see a detailed breakdown of points and comments for each group member.
- Click the yellow bar with the name of the student you wish to view in order to see their detailed results.
Export Evaluation Results
The results of an iPeer Evaluation Event can be exported in two ways:
- Directly into Canvas, where they will appear as an assignment in your gradebook.
- As a CSV or PDF file.
Push Grades to Canvas
To Push Grades to Canvas:
- After the Evaluation Event Due Date, in iPeer click on the Courses tab at the top of the page.
- Click on the course for which you want to export grades.
- In the Evaluation Events box, click List Evaluation Events.
- Next to the name of the Evaluation you want to export, click Results.
- Click Push Grades to Canvas.
- In the form page that appears, click Export.
- When the exporting process is complete, in your Canvas Course Gradebook there will be a new column showing the grades from your iPeer Evaluation Event. The grades are the average of the points awarded a student by peers. Grades must be manually posted in Canvas for students to see them. If the evaluation had comments, students need to log into iPeer to view any comments submitted there.
Export Evaluations
To Export Evaluations as a file:
- After the Evaluation Event Due Date, in iPeer click on the Courses tab at the top of the page.
- Click on the course for which you want to export grades.
- In the Evaluation Events box, click List Evaluation Events.
- Next to the name of the Evaluation you want to export, click Results.
- Click Export Evaluations.
- In the form page that appears, beside Export Filename, enter a name for the results file.
- Beside Export File Type, use the drop-down list to choose a CSV or PDF file type.
- Beside Event Name, click the drop-down list and select the name of the Evaluation event you want results for.
- When finished, scroll down and click Export. The results file will download to your computer. Note: the instructor will need to calculate the average of the points a student receives from each peer in the group, and then create a no submission assignment in Canvas in which to post them.
