Option 2: Make changes to your course

The second option is an Open Mini-Project in which you begin or continue the first stage of changes to your course based on what you have learned so far (You may wish to work on your Canvas course with attention to a/synchronous distinctions, film a welcome message focusing on teaching presence, or perhaps you would rather write a "to do" list for yourself to begin next week). This mini-project aims to hold time/space for you to work on whatever would be most useful at this time.

1. Create a welcome video using Kaltura or Camtasia to welcome learners to your course

2.  Make a lecture video for part of your course

3. Create a asynchronous discussion activity

4. Develop a lesson plan for a Collaborate Ultra (up to 250 students) OR Zoom (more than 250 students) session and describe how you will run interactive activities using break-out rooms, polling or the whiteboard.

5. Wildcard: Create an activity or aspect of your course to help design for teaching presence.
