Our Approach: Blended Learning From a Different Lens
With the quick transition to online teaching, there is a need to respond with agility to a changing environment that nonetheless requires careful planning. In this course, we will explore blended learning from a different perspective, through a fully online format that requires the thoughtful combination of synchronous (real time) and asynchronous (on your own time) teaching. Upon completion of this workshop, you will have developed a plan to move your course into an online format and identified additional areas you will need to address to make this a successful transition.
What to expect from us? We will be sending announcements prior to each day with a recap of the previous day's activities and your contributions to the discussions. We will be involved in the discussions, but depending on the number of posts, we will not be able to respond to all of your posts individually. We encourage you, however, to respond to your peers and to keep the conversation going by asking questions, sharing personal examples and/or recommending additional resources.

The asynchronous component of the course provides foundational learning and guidance for success. Please be sure to make time to work with the guidance in the Daily Overview on each of the five days.
How to monitor your progress?
When you have completed all the readings for each day, make sure to check the "Mark as Done" option on the top right-hand corner of a page.
This is the way to track and monitor your progress in this workshop.
