Examlet Guidelines
Key Information about the Examlets
- Ten short PrairieTest exams
- Each examlet is roughly 5% of your final score in the course
- Dates (late in the week: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays):
- During online weeks, your examlet is during your registered lecture section
- During in-person weeks, sign up for your examlet time on PrairieTest Links to an external site.

Instructions
Research suggests that students retain content more effectively if they are asked to retrieve it frequently, so we're changing our assessment strategy in CPSC221 to include more-frequent, lower-stakes exams (Pennebaker, Gosling, Ferrell, 2013 Links to an external site.).
Exams will late in the week each week on PrairieTest--a slight variation of the same system you'll use for all assignments in the course.
To take your exam, simply log in to PrairieTest Links to an external site. within the exam time window and navigate to the appropriate assessment.
Exam Preparation
Exam questions will be a mixture of Multiple Choice, Fill in the Blanks, Computation, and Code questions.
The content will be based on all material in the course up to the exam date, with emphasis on most recent material. Practice Sets and Labs should provide sufficient preparation materials.
