Use this check-list before flying:
1. Check the local weather forecast to ensure that the weather conditions are ideal for take-off (no significant weather hazards like icing or thunderstorms).
2. Check the weather forecast at your flight destination and the weather along your flight route.
3. Ensure that your aircraft has enough fuel
4. Examine the aircraft, making sure that the aircraft falls in the appropriate weight and distribute the weight (etc. passengers, extra fuel) if it is not properly balanced.
5. Create an emergency flight plan in case of hazards by checking METARs and TAFs.
6. Trust your instincts. If any part of the trip, the weather conditions decline, trust your instincts and divert to safety first.
7. Good luck, stay safe and have fun!
