The right hand column on this webpage boasts various real-time weather resources, such as surface maps, satellite imagery, and radar images. It truly is your one-stop destination for receiving accurate, real-time information about the weather. 

What is most useful about this webpage is the fact that it provides easy to follow, comprehensive, and concise video tutorials that teach you how to interpret the maps you wish to view! For instance, if you were to click on Satellite Imagery on the right column, you would be taken to this page: 

By clicking on "Tutorials", the viewer will be taken to video explanations of satellite imagery: 

The website also includes forecasts for temperature, winds, mountain weather, and precipitation. The mountain weather information is especially useful for snowboarders, as one can use this information to aid in making decisions regarding snowboarding.

For the more experienced map interpreter who may not require video tutorials to interpret maps, this website provides various types of imagery, such as infrared, visible, and water vapour satellite imagery. Scrolling down on the website, the viewer is presented with multiple geographical areas; the one relevant to those snowboarding in the Lower Mainland would be "West Coast" or "West Coast 2"

From there, the reader can choose from the latest type of real-time imagery they are interested in.

What better way to check out the current weather conditions at Whistler before making the trek yourself than to see real time camera footage? This page provides camera footage from various cameras on the mountains, as well as Whistler Village. The bottom of the page also includes weather information for nearby rivers and lakes, such as wind speed and air temperature.

Snowboarders should always be concerned of the possibility of avalanches before hitting the slopes. Avalanche Canada provides warning levels at different skiing elevations for a particular location. Here is an example:
