After knowing some basic weather resources and weather hazards, here is a checklist to help ensure you a safe flight. You can always make one of this checklist by your self. Have fun flying!

  • Always check on weather resources sites before you take off, be aware of weather hazards like thunderstorms. Make plans for alternative route if the original route is not safe to fly.

  • Check METARs/TAFs to help you reach a better decision before take-off.

  • Check visibility, cloud cover especially if you are flying VFR.

  • Check that all the equipment(engine, instruments, etc) on your plane are in good condition and if there will be potential icing during the flight, make sure that the plane you are flying is equipped with de-icing equipment.

  • Adjust weight on the plane to keep balance.

  • Make sure that you have enough fuel to get to your destination.

Lastly, Safe Flight to you all !
