Welcome to my ePortfolio for ATSC 113! My goal for this ePortfolio is to provide you with information on how to have a safe and enjoyable moped trip around Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam. As any native Saigonese (another name for people residing in HCMC) will tell you, the weather there can vary greatly within a day, which could impede on your trip. With the right preparation, however, you can still enjoy your ride!
For those new to this mode of transportation, a moped looks something like this:

It is a less powerful (and easier to maneuver) version of a typical North American motorcycle. Millions of Vietnamese use it everyday, but it can still be intimidating for those just starting out. After you have mastered the techniques of riding a moped, you need to also consider weather elements that could affect your trip.
If you are ready to find out what hazards to look out for, navigate using the left sidebar to the "Weather Hazards" section!
