Here are some useful resources for planning your path to a perfect picture.

The Weather Network provides weather forecasts for many areas, with basic temperature, hour-by-hour weather forecasts, and accessible explanations for anyone to use. It's a good resource to check when going for shorter shoots on a whim.

Accuweather is similar to the Weather Network, but is a lot more useful for hiking. It comes along with a button that details whether or not the weather is good enough for hiking and other activities, and can be personalized to also account for possible health issues. It's great when planning longer shoots.

NASA's Worldview indicates hazardous weather conditions across the world. Though it doesn't have localized forecasts, it's a good tool to use when you want to observe or stay away from hazardous weather. As well, the interactive interface can look at current and historical events, which allows you to plan for recurring events. It's great for planning a shoot in a destination you've never been or are far away from, giving context to the more localized services.
