1. AccuWeather

AccuWeather provides accurate weather forecasting for specific regions such as Squamish. AccuWeather is able to provide climbers with a minute by minute weather report that can help climbers decide if the weather conditions are suitable for climbing. The weather report includes temperature, max UV index, wind, humidity, pressure, cloud cover, visibility, precipitation, and probability of thunderstorms. AccuWeather also provides climbers with a weather radar map which shows the location, type, and movement of precipitation.

2. Environment Canada

Environment Canada provides a 5-day forecast for regions of interest as well as descriptions of the current weather conditions. This website provides detailed information on the weather and provides climbers with weather radar maps. Additionally, climbers can access satellite images from this website as well. Most notably, Environment Canada publishes public alerts in regards to dangerous weather conditions. This information is especially helpful when deciding to make the trip out to Squamish to rock climb.

3. Weather-Forecast

Weather-Forecast provides daily weather forecasts consisting of information on the wind, rain, snow, temperature, humidity, and UV index. Most interestingly, this website includes various different weather maps (temperature maps, cloud maps, wind maps, precipitation maps).

This website includes a comprehensive list of climbing routes to explore. The website provides information about climbing routes and the style and grade of climbing that can be done at those routes. The website also provides easy to interpret maps that aid in route finding. This is a great place to start when planning your climbing expeditions.
