Thunderstorm

It is essential to check the weather report before you go on a jet skiing trip. Although the jet ski itself is water proof (duh), but you are not, which is unfortunate. Heavy rain will make your jet ski trip extremely unpleasant, because not only will you get soaked, making you feel freezing due to wind chills caused by your high velocity and increasing your chance of getting a fever even if it's mid-summer, you will also physically hurt, as the raindrops will smash into your skin, making you feel like millions of tiny needles are poking at your skin, due to your high speed.

Not only is it unpleasant, but it is also dangerous to jet ski during a thunderstorm. The poor visibility and wind shear associated with thunderstorms can easily make you lose track of the direction and potentially lose control over your jet ski. The chance of you getting stroke by lightning also increases exponentially in the water being unprotected and the tallest object within a large radius.

Basically, you should avoid thunderstorms when jet skiing.
