There have been dramatic technological advances in the last few decades. In fact, it has completely changed the way we interact with the world around us. We can't even walk for five minutes without browsing Facebook, we buy extra unnecessary pieces from Amazon or Googling everything that comes to our heads.

As a result, society is changing rapidly. And the music industry is no different; embracing emerging technologies to completely change the way we eat and create music. From streaming to software, you can get the best of new technologies from https://www.melodyloops.com/music-genres/futuristic/.

Multitrack recording

Multitrack recording may be considered a mere figment of the imagination these days, but when it first became available in the mid-'50s it was the music of the first human aeronautics. Although in the past artists and sound engineers had to record the whole song - with just ONE take - multitrack enabled them to record different parts of the song and put them together. It also allowed for one-to-one alterations to certain parts of the song, while multiple layers were added to the same instrument (i.e., the harmony of the same artist's voice, recorded separately and laid out together). And just like that, the recording industry was never the same again.

Shuffle automatically

No one is perfect, and our favorite artists are no different. Sometimes during voice recording, it is common for a strange note to have a slight pitch. Here and there, it is, and rarely anything big, but it happens. The introduction of Auto-Tune, however, has allowed erroneous notes to be translated quickly and comprehensively in close quarters, for the best voice recording at all times. Although often used subtly, some artists have used Auto-Tune to exaggerate their voices, creating new and original sounds. Kanye West has been at the forefront of the movement, along with artists such as T-Pain.

Digital software

Undoubtedly the biggest game converter has been the introduction of digital software in music production; allowing talented artists to record and produce their songs to a satisfactory standard - usually from their bedrooms. Programs such as Logic and Protools offer a series of exciting effects, plugins and tools to help improve the quality of sonic music. Apple computers also come with their own built-in software - Garageband - which, while simple, is the first step towards a home studio. Many of today’s top bands and artists have started their careers by creating music in this way
