If you have children, surely at some point you have considered assigning them a room in the house. Maybe during your pregnancy, you got excited thinking about how to decorate it or maybe you thought that your son was still too young to enjoy his own room, but now he has grown up and wants to have his space. The time has come and you don't know where to start.

In this blog post, we offer you a solution to fully personalize your stay: the use of personalized photomurals.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO NEED TO DECORATE THE CHILDREN'S ROOM?

It all depends on whether it is a room for a baby or for an older child; if it is a boy or a girl; if you are alone or share the room. There are solutions for each case, even if you rush us, we have the same solution for all cases.

We recommend that you consider it above all economically since when decorating a children 's room you have to take into account the needs that a child may have as they grow. It is always better to find a timeless motif and forget about SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer and Spiderman because they will go out of style and in a couple of years they will be tired. For example, if your son loves cars, he looks for a design that includes them in an original way before deciding to create an environment based on the Disney movie Cars.

If the room is for a baby and you want it to last a few years, it will always be better to leave aside the sweetest and most caramelly designs such as bears and replace them with other, more cheerful animals.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE WE GOING TO USE?

  • plastic coverall
  • Masking tape
  • Tray
  • Roller
  • Brush
  • Paint
  • Custom mural
  • Tail

AND NOW YOU JUST HAVE TO FOLLOW THREE SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. The first step, as always, is to protect the floor, the skirting board, the furniture, if any, etc. We will cover the floor and furniture with plastic covers and masking tape.
  2. Now we are going to paint. First, we will cut the corners and visible areas with the brush and then we will paint the walls with the help of the roller.
  3. Glueing and placing the personalized photo wall is not complicated at all. It is applied like traditional wallpaper, but even easier, since it does not wrinkle and is very easy to handle. The personalized photomural will have one or several panels of a maximum of 120 cm. wide and a maximum of 3 meters long per panel, rolled in a cardboard tube. The panels are printed with an overlap of 1 cm. so that when mounted on the wall the photo is repeated for 1 cm. What this does is facilitate the subsequent mounting of the photomural and also this overlapping is practically imperceptible.

At Paintbuddy&CO we help you to give the room that special touch you are looking for. Our designer will create a personalized wall mural based on your tastes or those of your child. If you like relaxing tones for the rest area, we have it. If you prefer vibrant and fun colours for the playground, we have them. We propose great ideas to paint children's bedrooms and that the result is just as you imagine. In addition, you can count on the guarantee that there is no other bedroom like it. The design will be completely personalized for your little one.
