In this discussion you will be discussing your ideas for innovative solutions to the health resource challenges. After reviewing some key documents, you will begin to formulate your solutions to the challenges.
Read the articles
1. First, select one reading from each of the two groups provided (Group A and Group B).
2. As you read your 2 documents consider the following questions:
- What impressions do you have about the distribution of options for birth setting across BC? How does this impact people receiving and giving care?
- How might the changing demographic of maternity providers affect access to maternity care in the next decade?
- How might birth setting and/or the availability of human health resources affect cost-effectiveness of care?
