After you have listened to the debrief between Tasmin and Riann, you will discuss your own role in the health care team.

In this case the team shared responsibility for Florence and her baby. What do you think are some of the benefits of having a team share the responsibility of care? What are some of the challenges? Help your peers understand your profession's approach to shared responsibility by posting your thoughts to the discussion board.

Post your Thoughts

  1. Describe the benefits and challenges of sharing responsibility in your profession
  2. Describe your strategy for maintaining team functioning while sharing responsibility

This activity is graded. Accuracy or quality of your postings will not be scored. You will receive full marks for completion of each discussion activity.  Discussions are worth 20% of your overall course mark.
